Our February program will feature Tom Russell from Katy, TX, an award-winning quiltmaker who started quilting in the fall of 2000. He has appeared on HGTV's Simply Quilts and PBS' Quilt Central. Tom has designed patterns for HGTV and his work has been featured in Quilter's Newsletter Magazine and Quilting Arts. His quilts have been juried into national and international shows, and he has participated in traveling exhibits such as Men of Biblical Proportion and IQA's Small Wonders exhibit. Tom lectures and teaches throughout the region. His lecture for our meeting will discuss his progression as a quilter.
